Ysgol Maes Hyfryd was a "New Build" School specifically designed by Flintshire County Council for children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) between the ages of 8-11. The electrical design was undertaken by Flintshire County Council Engineers and executed by Fred Weston Ltd. We worked closely along side Wynne Construction and the Council within a Partnering Scheme to provide a complete electrical package with elements ranging from General and Emergency Lighting, Power & IT to a Photovoltaic system, BMS & Natural Ventilation controls wiring. Additionally during this project, we were also tasked with completing a large single storey extension to Ysgol Pen Coch, another SEN School further down the road in Flint. Both projects were phased to cause minimum disruption to the existing schools and were completed on time with zero defects.
